Financial support is an important factor in the decision to study abroad and the Chinese government is offering a wide range of funding opportunities to attract international students, including more than 40,000 scholarships at 277 institutions.


In 2015, 40 percent of all international students new to China received government sponsorship. The number of scholarships available has increased fivefold since 2006. China is a superpower but living in China is more affordable than any other country. There are many countries where studying can cost a fortune. The United States and the United Kingdom have the highest fees in the world. These are the country that almost runs on student fees. Studying in Asia is not cheap. Japanese have the highest monthly rents while the Koreans are categorized as the most expensive country for foreign residents. Tuition fees in universities in China are much less than other universities. The tuition fees don't increase than a thousand dollars. That is half of the amount than other countries. Jeans don't

ShanDong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE)

MAIN TITLE
The predecessor of Shandong Economic University, Shandong College of Finance and Economics, was established in 1952 through the merger of Shandong Accounting College and the Department of Economics in Qilu University. It is the earliest financial university in Shandong Province and one of the earliest colleges and universities of finance and economics in China. Jointly built by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial Government, Shandong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE) is situated in Jinan - a nationally famous, historic and cultural city, enjoying a good reputation as the “Spring City.” SDUFE IS a university of finance and economics with a long history. It is a large-scale university with distinctive administrative characteristics. It mainly focuses on economics and management. It includes the other six disciplines: literature, law, science, engineering, education and art. It has a high reputation and is popular both at home and abroad.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
申请者资格

1. Applicants must be Non-Chinese nationals.


For Ph.D. Applicant

1. Applicants who would like to participate in PhD programs must have a Master’s degree And show proof of Chinese proficiency.

* HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 5(more than240 points/300 full score)

2. Applicants who would like to participate in English taught Ph.D. programs must have a Master’s degree and Show proof of English proficiency *IELTS level 6.5


For Master Applicant

1. Applicants who would like to participate in Master’s degree programs must have a Bachelor’s degree and show proof of Chinese proficiency.

* HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 5 (more than210 points/300 full score)


2. Applicants who would like to participate in English taught Master’s degree programs must have a Bachelor’s degree and Show proof of English proficiency

*IELTS level 6.0

For Bachelor Applicant

1. Applicants who would like to participate in Bachelor’s degree programs must have a diploma of high school and Show proof of Chinese proficiency.

* HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) level 4 (more than180 points/300 full score)


2. Applicants who would like to participate in English taught Bachelor’s degree programs must have a diploma of high school and Show proof of English proficiency

*IELTS level 5.5 （applicants from native English speaking countries do not need any English proof）

HOUSING, TUITION & REGISTRATION FEE

Housing

The University has a number of fully furnished rooms which are available to international students. 

Accommodation cost:

*RMB￥750 each month for each bed if two share a room

(Online students do not need to pay until attending on-campus study)



Registration Fee

RMB￥400

Tuition 

* PhD programs: ￥22,000 per year. 

English taught PhD programs: ￥30,000 per year

* Master's degree programs: ￥20,000 per year 

English taught Master’s degree programs: ￥28,000 per year

* Bachelor’s degree programs:￥15,000 per year

Bachelor’s degree programs of Arts and Physical: ￥18,000 per year

English taught Bachelor’s degree programs: ￥21,000 per year


Students apply through or nominated by Globerplus&Chuangyou Edu will be considered for three different levels of SDUFE scholarships

Application Submission

Applications for the Admission of degree programs of SDUFE could be submitted via email, with completed application forms and scanned copies of supporting documents attached.

Deadline


Application forms are to be received no later than the 1st of Janurary, 2021.

Any applications received after this date shall not be considered. Successful applicants will be notified by the International Students Office of the University no later than 10th of Janurary.
